Obituary of Léo Caissie

CAISSIE, Léo 11/24/1962 – 06/28/2016 It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Léo Caissie on June 28, 2016 at his home. Léo was born in Hacheyville New Brunswick, and lived in St. Cath, Ont. He leaves behind his spirit to carry on through his wife Gisele, his two sons, Jason, Mario, along with his daughter-in-law Holly Berezowski, soon to be married to Jason on July 16, 2016. Also left to mourn, his dear mother Marianne Caissie, his predeceased father Thomas, along with his dear deceased mother-in-law Isabelle Robichaud Mariage. He leaves behind eight brothers, three sisters, one half-sister: Claude (Lucie); Michel (Cécilia); Maxime (Rolande); Arthur (Diane); Jeanne (Avila); George (Angeline); Omer (Ginette); Abel (Rhéa); Rita (Harry); Sylvie (Yvon); Eloi, Evelyne. As well as two dear friends Chris Prada and Robert. As well as twenty-four nieces and nephews, thirty-eight great nieces and nephews, three great, great nieces and nephews. Léo’s hobby was working in his garage, always fixing things; he was an enormously well-organized man. Léo was a loyal, hardworking man for thirty years of service at Schreiber Roofing. Léo will be dearly missed by his wife Gisele, family and friends. Always loved, never forgotten!! Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. Catharines on Monday, July 4 from 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow the visitation. Memorial donations may be given to Canadian Cancer Society; (Lung Cancer).
