Obituary of Jean Tancock

TANCOCK, M. Jean (nee Shelvock) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the age of 90. Jean has been reunited with her beloved husband Leslie (1999). Forever loved mother, grandma and great-grandma of Lynda (Larry) Busch; Tanya (Jamie) and Kayden McPherson, Brad (Jenn) and Austin Busch, David (Aurora) Tancock; Chris (Krystan) and Steven, Barbara (Dave) Waite; Kyle (Cassondra) and Teagan, Tom (Molly) Tancock; Nick (Lara), Noah, Elianna and Marsha, Joanne Black (Wayne “Sid” Siddall); Jason and Scott Black. Jean will be remembered by her sister Ruth Jeffery and also by family and friends. Jean is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 29 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations given to the Canadian Cancer Society or to War Amps would be appreciated by Jean’s family.
