Obituary of Rose Marie Turpin

TURPIN, Rose Marie (nee Yulling) Passed away peacefully after a long struggle with Alzheimers on June 21, 2016 at Henley House at the age of 83. Loving wife and companion of George for 66 years. Loving mother of Suzanne (Rod) Kislasko and Cathy Waud, all of St. Catharines, Lynn Dutchyn of Niagara Falls, and Rick (Sheryl) Turpin of Welland. Much loved granny of Ryan (Shannon), Kelly (Chris), Johnny, Todd, Scott, Justin, Meaghan and Danielle. Cherished great granny of Sadie, Jack, Avery and Alexandra. Dear sister of Mary (the late Nick) Bula of St. Catharines, and sister in law of Roger (the late Claire) Turpin of St. Catharines. Much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister in law Pierette (Len) Pratt. Rose was a lifetime volunteer member of the St. Catharines General Hospital Auxiliary. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caring and compassionate staff of Henley House, and sincere thanks to her many caregivers in their home. Rose's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Friday, June 24th from 10-11:15am. A service to celebrate her life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30am. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society or Tender Wishes Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
