A Note to Gillian...
You were the most wonderful personality I have ever met. It was hard to believe you were struggling with cancer when you first came out to our Silver Linings Social Club.
I could not believe you were sick...you always had a smile and a story...and even about 4 weeks ago or so when you came for breakfast... I still heard that laugh of yours across the table......that laugh that made us all laugh and smile and I'm saddened now, that you've past.
The world is a sadder place to have lost such a great spirit such as you but we greatly appreciated that we got to meet you and you blessed us and allowed us to share your time.
You made a huge impact on me and other members with your strength and perseverance.
May God rest your soul.

Thoughts & prayers to your family & friends Gill. I knew Gill through my sister Linda Want.We were able to share a few brief moments together while I was up visiting. Always smiling and never a complaint...that's what I remember. I pledge to wear the brightest of lipsticks to honor her in the next few days. The pain has subsided, now time to kick up your heels and party like it's 1999!!! Have a tea or some bubbly...whatever suits your fancy Gill...you deserve it. Going to miss your smile and cheery nature xoxoxoxoxoxo

Melanie and Ian and families,
I am from the Friday night supper group and met your mother in SPAN many years ago. i was the person who arranged New Year's Eve dinner for 6 of us at Murphy's this year.
Although we only knew each other socially, I always enjoyed her stories and her uplifting spirit. I will miss her.
So sorry for your loss.

What words describe this wonderful lady. There are so many wonderful things to say about Jill the list could go on and on.
First of all everybody who knew her loved her.
She enjoyed life liked no one I have ever met.
Nothing ever seemed to get her down she laughed at everything and anything.
She lifted everyone's spirits just with her smile.
She had a habit of banging her car door in to other people's car doors she still told the story and laughed.
Her story of riding in a tank in a parade was hilarious only Jill would do that and not be
Embarrassed but had a great time.
She was kind, she loved her family so much and was a wonderful friend to everyone.
Jill if you are listening right now. We loved you and we will miss you so much.
Your smiling face will stay forever in my mind.
RIP Jilly Gill. Xxx

Oh Auntie Gill, I so hope you're laughing up there with my mum, your friend and sister in law Jane. You were so brave and always kept smiling and laughing.
I'll always remember you with such fondness, I loved it when I worked in the barber shop and out of the blue you'd show up to say hi when you visited England with gifts for my kids, Sam will always remember the red fly swatter, he loved it!! How we would sit in my garden and laugh and I'll never forget my months stay in Canada when I was 11. You made it special.
Much love to Mel and Paul, Ian and Angie and all auntie Gills gorgeous grandchildren who will remember her forever as someone so special their hearts will warm with just the thought of her.
Talk about her daily as she will still always be in your lives.
Night night Auntie Gill, sleep tight.
Love from one of your groupie Blogettes,
your niece, Lucy X X X X
