Obituary of Oswald Vouk

VOUK, Oswald Peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 90. Oswald has been reunited with his beloved wife Anna (1983), his daughter Margot (2008) and son-in-law Real (2016). Dearly missed by his daughter Monika Bourdage (nee Vouk) and son-in-law (and best friend) Larry Watson. Proud great-grandfather of Brandon, Brooke, Victoria and Olivia. Loving uncle of Maria Egan, Peter and Fred Vouk. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Maria and Oswald, by his brothers Joe (Ellie), Henzi and Stefanie. Oswald worked at Hayes Dana for about 20 years. A special thank you to the staff at the NHS- St. Catharines and to his friends, who were like family, at Heidehof for their caring friendship. A very special thank you to Father Christopher Gillen for being there so quickly in our time of need. In accordance with Oswald’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL. A private graveside ceremony will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be given to Hospice Niagara or to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
