Obituary of Catharine Jennifer Coppard RN

COPPARD, Catharine Jennifer, RN Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in her 39th year. She will be greatly missed by the love of her life, her son, Dylan. Cherished daughter of Debbie and Steve Coppard. Beloved sister of Carrie ann (Chris) Csordas. Very special “E” to her nephew Robbie, whom she adored. Missed by her “daughter from another mother” Tiana and baby Adele. Dearly missed by Grandparents Ada McGarr, Ralph Pisano, Gladys Coppard. Dearest Niece of Cathi Bevan (Jim Harper), Rick (Lori) Pisano and Denis Coppard. Beloved Cousin of Marty and Katie Bevan. She will also be missed by Andrew Coppard, Charlie, Allie and Andrew Pisano. Predeceased by her Grandfather Ronald Coppard and her Cousin Heather Coppard. Catharine was welcomed home to her St. Catharines ICU Family where she worked for the last 8 years. We are so very grateful for the care given by Dr. Hollidge, Dr. Tsang, Dr. Doyle and Dr. D’Sa, along with her dearly loved family doctor, Dr. Tatzel. We are also grateful to all her ICU nurses for their care and compassion, along with the staff at the Hamilton General. Catharine’s family will receive guests at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, Friday May 20, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 3:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 169 St. Paul Cr., St. Catharines, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow the service. Donations to her son Dylan’s education fund or CYO Minor Hockey would be appreciated by the family.
