Obituary of Robert Leonard Kershaw
KERSHAW, Robert Leonard
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Specky" Kershaw on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the age of 61. Loving Father of Valerie and Matthew and Father-in-law of Trevor and cherished Papa of Patrick and Samuel. He will be dearly missed by his siblings: Maureen, Irene, Jane, Ann, Jack and Gordon, extended family, friends and co-workers alike.
Robert was a dependable and enthusiastic employee of Foster Wheeler/Trenergy for an amazing 40 years. He was a proud member of the Imperial Veterans Association and the St. Catharines Tigers Rugby Club. He loved the Buffalo Bills, and through thick and thin he never missed a game. Patrick and Samuel will miss their Sunday visits with Papa. They could always rely on him to be there with their Happy Meals and Timbits. We will always miss your sense of humour and honesty.
In accordance to Robert's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive guests at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
