Obituary of Marija Lisowskyj

LISOWSKYJ, Marija (nee Rzadkowski) - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016 in Mississauga at the age of 89. Beloved mother of Walter, Helene, Victor and Alexander and their families. Cherished grandmother of Walter-John, Vladu, Sarah, Tammy, Jeremy, Jacqueline, Simone, Daniel, James, David, and Timothy. Great grandmother of Chloe, Ricky and Wyatt. Loving wife of the late Simon. Mary is survived by her brother Paul Rzadkowski and her sister Lydia Karpik. She is predeceased by her brothers Adolf and August and her sisters Olga and Gail. Mary loved gospel music, singing, and playing the mandolin. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, May 15th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Celebration of Mary's Life will take place on Monday, May 16th at 12p.m. in the funeral home. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Slavic Evangelical Baptist Church or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
