Obituary of Gwen (Billie) Robertson

ROBERTSON, Gwen (Billie) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Gwen on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in her 86th year. Loving mother of Mark, Kim (Dan) McNeill, and Leslie. Dear grandmother of Justine, Sean, Nickolas and Riley and great-grandmother of Isabella. Also survived by her sister Joan (Bill) McLean. Gwen will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Richard and Maude and by her brothers, Richard and Robert Ely. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Heidehof for their care and compassion. In keeping with Gwen's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, May 3 from 6-8 p.m. A private family memorial service will be held on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or to Heidehof.
