Obituary of Angela Plut

PLUT, Angela Angela passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the age of 93. She will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Christine (Ted) Skorski, Mary (Robert) Lucyk and Angela (Jim) Zeoli. Predeceased by her son, baby Louis. Much loved grandmother to Ryan DiFrancesco, Jeff (Andrea) Skorski, Robert Skorski and Vanessa Zeoli. Angela will also be fondly remembered by her sister Mila Bartol, many nieces, nephews and friends. Angela was born in Loski-Potok, Slovenia in 1923, and immigrated to Canada at the age of 13. For anyone who met Angela, they quickly recognized her feisty spirit, her independent nature, her spunk and wonderful sense of humour. She had a natural ease with a love of everyone whom she encountered, often striking up a conversation with a total stranger. The family wishes to thank the palliative care staff at NHS-Port Colborne for their excellent care and support. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, April 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Angela's life will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to Sick Kids Hospital (Toronto) would be appreciated by the family.
