It is with deep sadness I offer my sympathy to the Fare family and to all his friends which I know are many. I worked with Paul for over 23 years. He called me rookie for almost the first 10. He always had time for a question, a hand to help with and was quick with a smile. He will be greatly missed.
Sincerest condolences,

Dear Kim & Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Paul for many years at General Motors. Throughout those years, he was not only a phenomenal boss but a good friend as well. He was kind enough to always lend a helping hand when it came to car repairs and teaching me some of his many skills in the garage. I won't forget the times we travelled for work together and the laughs we shared. He will missed by many.
My deepest sympathy,
Tom Herweck

Dear Kim, Maureen, Bruce & families
My earliest memories of Paul, actually of any of my cousins, are playing with Maureen and Paul in the back yard of their home on Windsor Rd. (do I have that street right?)
I am heartbroken to lose another family member so close to my own age. Frankly, just sooner than any of us expect. I hope Paul is now at peace.
I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers over the next days and weeks ahead. Please let me know if there is any help I can offer.
Love Jane

Kim, Tyler and Kailee:
Your entire family have been dear friends to me for many years now and each and every one of you brings a smile and the warmest of sentiment to my heart every time we are together.
It is that unique trait of the Fare family that will help sustain the memory and ease the pain with the loss of Paul.
Simply, Paul will be cherished as the great human being he was day in and out.
Even when we were concerned with his health he still made me smile.
His enjoyment of everything was remarkable.
I will miss his laugh, his humour, his smile, his wit and mostly our visits and the joy of knowing the next one would come again. That's why he was great and he will never be forgotten.
I hope knowing how he was seen outside the family will offer you added strength in grieving his loss.
Your friend,
Ernie

I have known Paul for 25 years as a co-worker and as a friend. He has never changed in all of these 25 years, he is simply a "great person". It has been my honor to have worked with Paul, his dedication and enthusiasm would inspire anyone who worked with him. Paul's legacy to me is 10 or 20 years from now, those who know him will still be talking about Paul, of what a great person and friend he was to all of us.
Deepest regrets to you all, in our hearts and thoughts.

Kim, Tyler and Kailee. Words, and or gestures, cannot express our most saddened feelings of Paul's passing. We have been neighbours for over thirty years and not a day went by that we didn't see or hear him, (or his muscle cars.) We have shared many a great time, and comaraderie. We will forever cherish the memories. He will truly be missed.
Love to all.

With deep sadness and condolences the passing of a good human being. I worked with Paul at Bodycote and G. M. Had a few beers in his old garage. Never had a chance to have one in the new one. Helped him in the spring to take down the lawn furniture and put it together for Kim and family. I knew he liked G M vehicles but he said he liked my 1966 Ford Econoline. Drove down the street and sounded my horns. ( la cu ca raw cha ) He knew it was me. Rest in peace. Until we meet again.

If you are lucky you might meet someone like Paul Fare in your lifetime.
He was a dedicated co-worker and loyal friend.
A perfectionist with boundless energy who would never quit until the task was done.
So many times, I the teacher would quickly become the student as he showed me the right way to do something.
He had so much to give.
I will forever miss him.
Rest in peace buddy.

Paul was one of those people that would give you the shirt off of their back. It's hard to think of a more caring, sincere, and energetic person.
Those of us who knew him at GM also knew that we could count on him. The main problem was trying to hold him back at times. What a sense of urgency he had.
Outside of work he'd help people out. He was a great source of advice whenever you had a car problem. But what I liked most about Paul was how easy he was to be with. Gregarious and never self-imposing, one could chat with him and minutes could easily turn into hours.
My regret is that Paul couldn't see all of his dreams come true in person. He leaves behind a lovely family and good friends. As a person who believes that we never cease to be, I know that he will live on in all of us.
