Obituary of Kelly Albanese

ALBANESE, Kelly (nee Martin) It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Kelly after her long and courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the tender age of 50. Beloved wife and best friend to Mike Albanese for 25 years. The inspiring mother of Danielle, Emily, Courtney and honorary daughter Isabella Taylor. She will be sadly missed by her puppy Bella, who always brought her so much comfort. She is the treasured daughter of Roger and Virginia Martin and much loved sister of Carrie (Tony) Craig, Melissa (Tony) Hozjan and Michael (Donna) Martin. She is the chosen sister and person to Lorraine Neves and her children. Daughter-in-law of Derek Farnan and special sister-in- law to Tina (John) Bilous, Lisa Albanese (Pete Kiss) and predeceased by her brother-in-law Neil Farnan. She is the amazing aunt to Jacob, Nathan, Tyler, Bailey, Josh, Carly and Jason. We would like to extend a special thanks to Lisa and Earl of the Watering Can for always keeping her world colourful and cheerful. Kelly will be missed by her many close friends including her work sisters at Community Living. Anyone who knew Kelly was aware of how amazing she was inside and out. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel xo. In accordance with Kelly’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Saturday, April 2, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass and Words of Remembrance will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Kelly's Believers; Rankin Cancer Run team.
