Obituary of Teresa Wyborn

WYBORN, Teresa (nee Pellizzon) 1947-2016 Loving Nonna, Mother, Wife, Sister and Daughter. Terry passed away after a brief illness and a hard fought battle. Predeceased by her parents Battista (1976) and Lina (2009). She is survived by her husband Ron, children Stephanie (Michael Smith), Kevin (Andrea) and Neal (Marnie Shepard); grandchildren, Tristan, Quinn, Teslyn, Gabreal, James, William and Fiona and her sister Alice (Gary Sawayama). Loving aunt to Pam, Chris, the late Riley Larouche, Andrew and Kyle Sawayama. She also had many relatives in Italy and the United States. Terry worked for many years in the O.R. at PGH and St. Mary's in Timmins prior to moving to St. Catharines. She also worked in the O.R. at GNGH and the General until retirement. She then found a new calling at Linhaven Long Term Care Centre as a casual R.N. A special thanks to Dr. Hyatt/Andrea, Dr. Bokhari/Colleen, who guided her in her treatment. Also thanks to Doreen and Helen, who provided support over the last 9 months. Thanks as well to her sister Alice and to Janice and Jacques Larouche for their continuous support over the last few months and in particular this past week. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, March 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., St Catharines on Friday, March 18 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Timmins at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellspring Niagara, The Walker Family Cancer Centre or a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
