Obituary of June Prytula

PRYTULA, June It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother on Monday, February 29, 2016, at the age of 92, at Linhaven. She is the loving wife of the late Joseph and sister to Betty Powers. Amazing Mom to Shelley, Betty-Jane, Susie, Mike and Joe (Linda). Adored Grandma to Paul, Michael, Nicole (Edmond) and Meghan and Grams to her great grandchildren Martina, Alexis, Lily, Eddie and Logan. She will be dearly missed by many other nieces and nephews. She spent close to 50 years devoting her time and energy towards helping out at the Henley Island Helpers, raising money to purchase shells for rowing. The family would like to thank the staff and Dr. Collins at Linhaven for their wonderful care and compassion. In accordance with June's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of June's Life will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of Linhaven.
