Obituary of Margaret Rose Weerheim

WEERHEIM, Margaret Rose (nee Reilly) - Passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, February 25th , 2016 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Bill for 52 years. Cherished mother of Bill Jr., Leah (Mike) Fenwick and Robert (Amy). Loving Gran and now Guardian Angel of Elise, Amy and Claire. Special sister of Kay (Ron) Winterbottom, Marina (the late John) Schenck, Robina (Larry) Smith and Bob (Peggy) Reilly. She is predeceased by her brother Jim Reilly. Sister in law of Phil (Barb) Weerheim, Katherine (Gary) Veld and Margaret (Keith) Brein. Margaret will always be remembered for being an incredible mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all her nieces and nephews and all those who knew her. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at G.N.G.H. Stroke Unit for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. The family will recieve visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, March 2nd from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Wednesday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Parish, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, March 3rd at 9:30a.m. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Down Syndrome Caring Parents of Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
