Obituary of Bill Huizer

HUIZER, Bill (Wimpie) Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016 at the age of 65. Survived by his mother Annie Page, daughters Tami (Kris) and Kelly, brothers Harry Huizer (Marg) and Art Page (Deborah), and grandchildren Scott, Bethany, Michael and Kiersten. Predeceased by his father Willem Huizer (1973) and step-father Roy Page (2013). Bill excelled in all sports but especially in golf. He was the 1969 NOTL Junior Champion and the Junior winner of the Champion of Champions. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday, Feb. 29 from 7-9 p.m. A private family memorial will occur at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
