Obituary of Jadwiga Koziarski

KOZIARSKI, Jadwiga Peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2016, Jadwiga went home to be with her husband Stefan and her son George. Jadwiga passed away at Mount Nemo Christian Nursing Home, Burlington, at the age of 94. She will be forever loved and missed by her son Henry (Colleen). Loving grandma to Stephen (Katie), Robert (Karoline) and Nikki. Proud great-grandma to Sadie. Also survived by her dear brother Stanley (Kazimeira), her sister Zofia, her daughter-in-law Carina and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Michael, John, Szczepan and by her sister Mary. Jadwiga and Stefan were proud farmers in Niagara-on-the-Lake and were very active in the Polish community. A special thank you to the staff at Mount Nemo for the loving care and attention they provided to her. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 9:30-11 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery, Niagara-on-the-Lake. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Alzheimer Society.
