Tom, Tina, Robert and Pat, I remember your mom so well. In my memory, she's a whirlwind of energy, always ready to dish out humour, a little scolding, and good solid maternal advice and support – to her brood, and to anyone else who came within her orbit. We were all so young when I first met her, and her patience with all of us – although we may not have thought it at the time – was clearly steeped in love and understanding. Her home was immaculate, her garden was legendary, and despite those demands, she seemed to be always on the lookout for someone to whom she could extend a helping hand. It's wonderful that she had such a long life and got to see how well all of you have "turned out," and as well, to see her legacy represented in your own children. Edna was a force of nature, and I'll never forget her. And I'm certain that she'll always be with you in your hearts and your memories. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.
