Thoughts are with you for the memorial service as too far away to attend. Will always have fond memories of a lovely Aunt who thought so much of her family in England. RIP Aunt Edna

I met Mrs. Smith when I was a young girl with a small view of the world at the age of 14. She was the Mom of a new found friend Julie, who I met just begining highschool. They had just arrived from England. To meet this woman at my age opened my eyes to new possibilities for where women were heading. You see Mrs. Smith was heading up Sudbury Business College. Most Mom's I knew at the time were homemakers. Mrs. Smith was a business woman, wearing smart suits, driving a car, and helping girls direct their lives into more, if they made that choice. She showed me a whole new world of possibilities. I am so grateful that I got to visit with her in March. We had some great laughs at the stunts Julie and I pulled, like when we almost made it to Marymount College. She graciously shared some stories of my Dad, her kind words really touched my heart. She was a no-nonsense, strong, fine woman who always made it known what was expected to live a proper life. I am so much more enriched to have known her and to have gotten to see her that one last time. You made a difference Mrs. Smith. Rest in Peace. My sincere sympathy to Julie, Janis, Kevin, Brad and family

I MET DEAR EDNA IN OUR COPD CLASS A FEW YEARS AGO. WE INSTANTLY DEVELOPED A TRUE FRIEND RELATIONSHIP EXCHANGING OUR STORIES. EDNA HAD A GREAT SENSE OF OPTIMISM WHEN IT CAME TO HER COPD. WHAT A FIGHTER! LOTS OF LAUGHS AND ENJOYED FISH AND CHIPS AND A GLASS OF WINE. GOD BLESS YOU EDNA AND THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND.
JULIE AND FAMILY I KNOW YOU WILL MISS YOUR EXCEPTIONAL MOM.
