Obituary of Richard Alfred Armstrong
ARMSTRONG, Richard "Rick"
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19th at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 66.
He leaves behind his daughters Mary, Kelly and Ashley, and his many friends, especially Joe Ishkhanian and Brooke Bridgeman.
Predeceased by his father Tom and mother Mary.
Rick loved fishing, training horses and was an avid hockey player, trying out for the Buffalo Sabres. He loved coaching kids, loved all his friends and was known as "Smiley".
Visitors will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Monday, January 25th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, January 26th in the funeral home chapel at 12pm. Cremation will follow the service. There will be a reception following the service at the Armenian Community Centre, 156 Martindale Road.
If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Armenian Community Centre would be appreciated by the family.
