Obituary of Raimonda Joan Jeske

JESKE, Raimonda "Raye" Joan (nee Carlucci) On January 21st, 2016, God wrapped Raye in his loving arms and whispered "Come with me". She will be greatly missed by her daughter Joan, and her son-in-law Mark Doyle; her ever so special grandson Jonathan, his beautiful wife Nicole and Raye's precious great-grandson Oliver. He put the biggest smile on her face! Raye is the cherished sister of Del Oakie, Evo (Mary) Carlucci and missed by all her extended family members ... as well as her dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents Carlo and Nicolina Carlucci, brother Joe (Janet) Carlucci, sister Joan (Mike) Graziani and her niece Lana Zapp. For many years, we have enjoyed her special talents as a hairstylist. She had a real passion for baking, ice skating, biking, swimming and planting all her favourite flowers in the springtime. She loved having tea and a cookie with all her company! She not only loved her family dearly, she also had a great affection for St. Alfred's Parish which she attended on a daily basis, participating in many of the church's ministries ... always helping wherever she could. We are most grateful to all the staff at Tufford Retirement Manor for all their love and special care they gave to her these last two years. A special thanks to the Emergency Room staff that cared for her during her last day. Raye's family will receive friends and family at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held at the funeral home at 3 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 10 a.m. A Rite of Committal will follow the service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Raye's memory can be made to the Out-of-the-Cold Program at St. Alfred's Church. A little prayer or offering up a Mass for her would be awesome too!!!
