Obituary of Leslie Disik

DISIK, Leslie Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Linhaven in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Tillie (2006). Cherished father of Bob and his wife Lynne, and Alan. Loving grandfather of Burton. Les is predeceased by his brother Gerry (Mary) and sister Olga. He worked as a draftsman at Lightning Fastener until the company closed. Les was a World War II Royal Canadian Air Force Veteran. He was a talented man who built his garage and recreation room and loved to garden. Les enjoyed his family and the simple things in life. He also enjoyed watching hockey and football, and playing euchre and cribbage. The family would like to thank the doctor and staff at Linhaven for their care and support. Les will be sadly missed by all. A Rite of Committal will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
