Obituary of Roderick Morrison

Morrison, Roderick "Rod" It is with great sadness and simple joy that his family announces that Rod Morrison was called home to join his Heavenly Father on January 14th, 2016. Rod leaves behind Alice, his best friend, soul mate and wife of 66 years; his loving children, Rod (Jane), Sandra (Phil), Cate (Steve) and Andrea (Evan); 11 amazing grandchildren; 8 very special great-grandchildren and extended family in Canada, the U.S. and England. Rod had a quiet, gentle spirit, a kind heart, and always demonstrated a huge love and dedication to his God and his family. He will be deeply missed, but our memories of him will be cherished forever. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will occur. Friends are invited to share their condolences at a visitation to be held at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, January 20th, 2016 from 1 - 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
