Obituary of Gwen DeCampo
DeCampo, Gwennyth
Passed away peacefully at St. Catharines Place on Sunday, December 27, 2015 in her 81st year. Gwen was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario and was raised in St. Catharines. Beloved wife of the late Louis DeCampo (2012). Loving mother of Louis Jr. (Ted Aleck) and Paul (Rossana) and proud grandmother to Siena. She will be fondly remembered by her brother John (Lois) Golob, and sister Audrey (Marcel) Boisvert. Dear aunt of Barry, Randy, Gregory, Goddaughter Simone, Tim and Tom. Also survived by her sisters-in-law, Mary Mullen and Edith Pyle. Predeceased by her mother and father, Edna and Anton Golob. Special thanks to the staff at St. Catharines Place and The Heatherwood for their kind and considerate care. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 10-12 p.m. A celebration of Gwen's life will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Club Roma, 125 Vansickle Rd., St. Catharines. Memorial donations may be made to Wellspring Niagara.
