Obituary of Johanna Busauskas
BUSAUSKAS, Johanna
Johanna died in her 97th year, at NHS -St. Catharines Site on December 18th.
Predeceased by her husband Jonas (1991), her son Jonas (2008) and her parents and sisters in Lithuania.
Survived by her children Lonnie Busauskas, Regina Cook and Mike Bushkas, and grandson Tom (Sheila) Cook, great grandson Brennan Cook and her brother Alfonsus in Lithuania. Johanna was loved by everyone who knew her, especially Jane Embleton, Sheila Nicholson and Alphonse and Monique Touzin.
The family extends sincere thanks to the Sisters and staff of Mount Carmel Retirement Home, where Mom was so very happy.
Johanna's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, December 22nd from 2-4pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 23rd at Mount Carmel Chapel, 78 Yates Street, St. Catharines at 8:45am with the Rosary said at 8:20am. There will be a private burial in St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga.
