Obituary of Tadeusz Telega

TELEGA, Tadeusz Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Rozalia. Loving father of Leon (Linda) and Teresa. Special loving Dzaidzia of Sara-Lynn (Michael), Greg and Jenny Snazyk and the late Christopher. Great Dzaidzia of Luke, Cole, Kayley, Maggie and Max. He will sadly missed by his brother Raymond Telega and sister Ursula Thomas. Tadeusz is predeceased by his loving parents Jan and Maria Telega and his sister Albina Dutchyn. Tadeusz was a WWII Polish Veteran and was a committed lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Polish Legion Branch 418 where he held many executive positions. He was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for over 60 years. A very sincere thank you to all the staff at the Henley House for all their care and support. Tadeusz's family will receive guests at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, December 8 from 2-4 p. m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Wednesday, December 9 at 1 p.m. Rite of Committal at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
