Obituary of Agostino Di Pietro

DI PIETRO, Agostino With the love and support of his family, Agostino passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in his 82nd year. Agostino will be forever loved and missed by his brother Francesco (the late Teresa, 2005) Di Pietro, his loving niece Angela (John) Dekker, his niece in Italy, Angela Celetti and her family Giovanni and Agostino. Agostino will be dearly missed by his special friend, Rosetta Roche. He was predeceased by his sister Angela (1949). Agostino was passionate about his garden. He spent many hours tending to his vegetables and he enjoyed helping family and friends with projects around their home. Agostino was a lifelong resident of St. Catharines and a member of St. Alfred's Church. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses in the ICU- B2. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St. on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Lung Association.
