Obituary of Leokadia Clapa

CLAPA, Leokadia Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Wieslaw for almost 50 loving years. Dear mother of Beata Fialkowska and special Babcia to Kathy Fialkowska both of Poland. Leokadia worked at Schenks Farms Greenhouse for 10 years. When Leokadia was well, she attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for many years. She will be remembered for being very friendly and for taking great care of her family and friends. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. with Vigil Prayers being recited at 4 p.m. Cremation to follow. Leokadia will be laid to rest at home in Poland at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be given to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
