Obituary of Tom William Chalmers

Chalmers,Tom William - After a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday September 17, 2015 at the age of 48 years at Hospice Niagara with his loving family and friends present. Loving husband of his devoted wife Melodie for 18 years. Adored dad to Aiden and Conner. Cherished son of Merilyn and incredible Bro to John. Beloved son-in-law to Danny White, amazing brother-in-law to Lance (Trish) White and many loving family members and close friends. Predeceased by his father William, sister Linda and mother-in-law Claudia White. Tom was a patriotic Sergeant with the Lincoln and Welland Regiment; a respected employee at Venest Industries; and supported Melodie's passion of her singing with Harmony Inc. A special thanks to Dr. McWhirter of Juravinski Centre and Dr. Kerley, Dr. Maracle and the team at Hospice Niagara for their wonderful care and compassion given to Tom and his family. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Friday September 25, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church McNab,1294 McNab Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario at 11 am on Saturday September 26, 2015, with a visitation one hour prior to service. A burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations for Tom will made as an education fund for his two son's Aiden and Conner.
