Obituary of Joseph Ronald Greco

GRECO, Joseph "Joe" It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Joe Greco on Monday, September 7th at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Mary Greco, married October 25th, 1958. He will be dearly missed by his 2 children Korine Greco and Jody (John) Brusutti. Devoted and adored grandfather to Brianna Brusutti. Loving brother to Sylvia (Sevy) Pizzale and Norma (Maurice) Lemire, and cherished brother in law to Frances Tegel, John (Jane) Tegel and Helene Greco. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Predeceased by his brothers Willie Greco and Don Greco and sister Helen (Wilfred) Toppari. Joe opened the original Shoppers Drug Mart in St. Catharines and was a lifelong member at White Oaks. He loved time spent with his family and friends as well as playing and watching tennis. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Joe's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, September 13th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, September 14th at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street at 11am. Inurnment following in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Community Living or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
