Obituary of Frank Xavier Sheehan

SHEEHAN, Frank - Passed away on Monday, August 17th, 2015 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Cecilia for 66 years. Cherished father of Ray (Debbie),Brian (Julie) and Barbara (Bobby). Loving Grandfather of Brent, Brittany, Amanda and Lauren. Great Grandfather of 3. Brother of Joe and Wally. He is predeceased by his brother Bernard and his sister Susan. Frank was a veteran of World War 2 and was employed at Thompson Products for over 46 years. He was a coach at CYO Hockey for many years and a long time Usher at St. Alfred's Church. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at the St. Catharines Hospital- ICU Unit, as well as the staff at Linhaven Nursing Home for all their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, August 20th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Thursday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street on Friday, August 21st at 12p.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Alfred's Church would be appreciated by the family.
