Obituary of Frances E Farinacci

FARINACCI, Frances E. (Nee Walsh) Born on June 9th 1944 in St. John New Brunswick, Frances passed away at the age of 71 with her family by her side on Thursday, August 13, 2015. We were all amazed at her incredible strength during her courageous battle with Alzheimers. Frances will be missed by her loving husband Gabriel of 50 years. Beloved Mother of Michael (Diana), and Leonard (Tracey). Loving Nanny of Matthew, Nicole, Alicia, and Chelsea. Frances is also a Great Grandmother to Mia. She is survived by her siblings John (Cecilia), Rosie (the late Tom), Doug, Leo, sister-in-law Judy and many more Family and Friends. Frances is predeceased by her loving parents Francis and Jenny, and her loving brother Jerry. Frances loved spending time with family and friends at the cottage in Buckhorn. She was known for her famous canned goods, culinary skills, knitting and crochet, and famous Sunday dinners. Frances worked as an operator at Bell Canada for many years, and then worked as an Office Manager for the family business, Gabriel Maintenance Limited. She retired at the age of 45 to enjoy her family and friends. The family would like to give many thanks to the staff at Garden City Manor for all their care and support. Frances' family will receive family and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 169 St. Paul Cr. on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow the service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Queenston St.
