Obituary of Porsia DiBiasi

DIBIASI, Porsia Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Extendicare, in her 93rd year. Porsia has been reunited with her late husband, Agostino. Beloved mother of Joe DiBiasi (the late Anna) and Vincenzo (Maria) DiBiasi. Proud Nonna of Joseph, Priscilla, Tina, Vincent and Bisnonna of Phoenix, Scarlet and Francesco. Porsia will be dearly missed by her nephews Rocco and Pasqualina Di Pietro, Peter and Rosa Di Pietro, Rosa and Frank Carogioiello. She was predeceased by her brother Angelomario, and by her sisters Eleonora, Antonia, Agnesa and Vincenza. Porsia will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for her kind and friendly spirit. She was devoted to her family and was a very loving wife, mother and Nonna. A special thank you to the staff at Extendicare for assisting and supporting Porsia during her stay. Porsia's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers held at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow the Mass, at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by Porsia's family.
