Obituary of Paul Gagne
GAGNE, Paul - Passed away on Thursday, May 21st, 2015 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 94. Beloved partner of the late Jean Graham. Special uncle of Jack and Joyce Pearce and Bill and Mary Saxton. Loving step father of Mary-Dawn Roberts and the late Wayne Roberts of Guelph. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Paul was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Pioneers of the Royal Regiment of Canada. He was a recipient of the 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, the Defense Medal, C.V.S.M & C clasp. Paul was a member of the Lincoln & Welland Regimental Band. He was a drummer in a dance band and an avid card player who loved to travel. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, May 25th from 2-5p.m. A Celebration of Paul's Life will take place on Tuesday, May 26th at 11:30a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the St. Catharines Legion would be appreciated by the family.
