Obituary of Dolores Valentine May (Dion)

MAY, Dolores (Dion)- Passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, May 20th, 2015 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Lorne. She is predeceased by her first husband Conrad Dion. Cherished mother of Christine ( Terry) Greenhalgh, Michael (Nicole) Dion, Jackie Gare, Rick (Shawna) Dion, Shelley Dion, Sandra (Greg) Lattimer, Patrick (Connie) Dion, Kelly ( Lorraine) Dion and Paula Secord. Loving Grandma Do to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dolores will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters. She is predeceased by her sons Glenn and Gary and her brother Dennis. Dolores loved sports, especially watching her family sporting events. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at the Henley House for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, May 25th from 10a.m.-12p.m. A Celebration of Dolores' Life will follow at 12p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Inurnment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The St. Catharines Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
