Obituary of Germaine Thurlow

THURLOW (PARADIS), Germaine (nee Richard) Peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the NHS- St. Catharines Site at the age of 95. Predeceased by her first husband Honorat Paradis and by her second husband Victor Thurlow. Loving mother of Richard (Marie Claire), Pauline, Marie-Andrée. Cherished Grandma of Marcel (Christiane), Josée (Denis), Hélène (Benoît), Alain (Ann), Andre, Beatrice, Claude (Sylvie) and granddaughter-in-law Sonia, and the late Nathalie. Great- Grandma of Alexandre, Sébastien, Théo, Pierre Olivier, Maélie, Jannie, Giulianna, Jeanluca, Kalie, Lucas, Lynda, Jahyane, Mélody and Great-great Grandma of Trisdon. She will be remembered by many extended family members. Germaine was a proud and longtime member of the CWL, of St. Mary's Parish. A special thank you to the staff of Mount Carmel Home for their support and care over the past 12 years. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Friday May 22, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home Friday afternoon 3:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, 169 St. Paul Cres., on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Vald'or, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Carmel Home.
