Priceless......
They said they wanted one word or phrase that would best describe you. This is the most important word that comes to my mind. Priceless.....cause that's exactly what you are to me!
I can't begin to tell people about our time together. From as far back as I remember you were the best person I have ever known. You are the most selfless, honest, caring, loving, most generous person I have yet to come by. You would do absolutely anything for anyone, no questions asked. And even if not asked, you always managed to find out when someone was in need, and there you were to make things all better. We sure had amazing times together, I mean knee slapping, pant peeing funny times. And I am eternally grateful to you for all those times. I also want you to know how much I thank you for never ever judging me as a person, I never had to hide a single thing from you cause no matter what you loved me the same. You had so much love to share with the world and you did an amazing job lady gram!
I'm not very good at this goodbye stuff lady gram,
SO.....I want to say thank you! First I thank you for mom! I truly feel as they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree ( I believe she still has roots attached to that tree) and so long as I have her, I know I'll always have a piece of you with me. I also want to thank you for everything in general. For you being you, you letting me be me, for all our smiles, and tears shed together. I'm sure gonna miss all our lil secrects lady gram, those were the special things between us. But most of all I thank you for every last little thing that made you and me...."US"
I hope you are enjoying that new place you call home! I'm positive that you and Tiki are quite happy up there together!
I love you more than any of these words, stories, memories can express. I do love you with all there is in me! And until the day we are together again....
Love you always & forever Lady Gram

Thank you for being you
Wow Mom i will have to say that if someone told me in 2010 that i would be puttin you to rest i would have asked what tree they fell out of and must have hit every branch on the way down. But here we are. First i cant thank you enough for all that you have done for myself and my children. You were the foundation of this family, no doubt. You were my pillar of strength, and had made it easy for me to make major decisions in my life, knowin i would be ok, because of everything you had endured in your life. You wisdom didnt come from books, but from the experiences you had in life. You were unselfish, and you gave what you could to all of your children with what little you had. You never looked at your children, as two sets of children, we were your children. You didnt need a mansion on a hill, you needed a house and made that our home. You didnt need a cadilac, you needed a vehicle, and made that our car. Material things werent important to you. You took what God handed you over the years and made due with it. You never complained the hands that God dealt you either. And with that i thank you. You showed us how to laugh, and live life. You worked hard all your life, to provide for all of us. You were a proud a woman, a lady of character, and class. You earned the respect of all in whose life you entered. You were a true friend to many, even me. You were my best friend, and Mom. I feel that the relationship we had was very unique you were what friendship and parentin was all about. Lessons to be learned by all. You never judged, but you were a straight shooter. You said what you meant, and you meant what you said. You also stayed true to your word. You said the day you found out that you had cancer "Sandra its goin to be ok, i am goin to fight till the end" and that you did. So in this lesson as i believe there is one, you showed me how to die with dignity, keep that sense of humor, cause as you said "what can you do"? Mom, i can go on forever about our life together, but i have to leave room for the others (laughin). With all of who i am, and what i have become as a person i cant thank you enough. Thank you for the love and support you have given me over the years. You will never be gone, as i feel, i am the apple that fell from your tree, and with that i am very proud to be that apple.
P.s I hope God knows how lucky he is to have you? He obviously needed your strength and wisdom in the heavens. I love you always and forever. And until we meet again. xoxox forever in my heart Sandra

Mom,
To my best friend. Thank you for the many years that I was part of your life. The laughs and tears we both had together. I will really miss coming over to watch t.v. with you especially the nights that the ponies were on. Going shopping will never be the same, even though you always said that you really didn't need anything but always spent more than me. You were always there for me to lend an ear whether it was good or bad and you tried to steer me in the right direction. You will always be in my heart for many, many years to come. I could keep writing for hours about how wonderful you are. So Mom, I hope you and Tiki will rest in peace and if you only know how much I will miss you and love you so so much. God bless you Mom. Love forever Greg. XOXOXO

MY MOM
You were my Mother and Father my entire life. The past 3 weeks I spent with you I saw how loved you were by family, friends and neighbors. Your entire life you unselfishly gave everything you could to your family.Mom,you rarely complained and your strength and courage amaze me,you are my hero.I will miss your homemade chutney, jams, witty sarcasm, laughter and zest for life. One of my fondest memories will always be when you and Aunt Hilda would visit for the Stampede and this house would be alive with the two of you talking at the same time. I am at peace today knowing you have reunited with Dad. Love you Mom,your son Doug.

Rolling Stops
I remember the day Lady Gram and I went out to visit Winnie. We were driving down the back road having a conversation about nothing when Gram drove right through the stop sign. I said "umm Lady Gram..we just went through that stop sign." She looked at me and said "well I guess it's a good thing no other cars were coming." We looked at each other and laughed.
I also remember when I was 12 and made my first national tournament for bowling. She was such a trooper for making the 10 hour drive with my mom, dad, sister and Shirley. It meant so much to have here there to watch me win the gold medal. She always told me that anything was possible if I put my mind to it. She told me last month that I should be a nurse instead of a hairdresser and I made her a promise that I would become a nurse one day.
I thank you for the days you would take me to any appointments I had or drive me to the bowling alley so that I could practice.
I love you with all my heart Lady Gram! I know you will watch over us all until it is our time to join you and Tiki in heaven.
xoxo

Good Times
I will always remember the good times and when she taught us all and our children "SHIT". And the times we seen her on the porch laughing at the rude women on the street (yes you know who they were asking for money). She was like a second grandma to me and will greatly be missed. But I am glad I had the time with her and grew up knowing her.

Dear Marg
Thank you for the memories-for the
times we laughed and the times we cried,
for the frustrations we bounced off one
another-and then let them go.
Thank God for the strength to
fulfill your last wishes and the
privilege of caring about you and for you-
that I was able to hold your hand-
praying for you and asking God to
send His angels to lead you home-
at the very moment your spirit took wing.
(April 9, 2010 - 9:55p.m.)
Adieu until we meet again
God bless you
