Obituary of Doris "Do" Stewart Laird

Laird, Doris "Do" Stewart - Passed away peacefully with her loving sister Ina by her side, on Friday April 24, 2015 at Chateau Gardens in her 92 nd year. She will be sadly missed by her family Angus Fraser (the late Elna); Sandra (Blair) Cowan and Linda (Benno) Sorensen and their children Erin (Shawn), Kim, Sara, Bradley, Jenna, and grandchildren Alyvia and Avery. Do worked at the Toronto Public Library in the payroll department, was a member of St. Tomthy's Anglican Church, a Commissioner for the Girl Guides of Canada, and was a true sports fan of her beloved Toronto Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and Argonauts. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Wednesday from 9:30 - 11:30 am. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:30 am with cremation to follow. Reception will take place after the service for Doris in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall. Memorial donations may be made to Girl Guides of Canada or Charity of One's Choice in Doris' honour.
