Obituary of Seymore Joseph Doucette

DOUCETTE, Seymore "Sid" Passed away after a brief illness at home on Monday, March 30th. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Mary, sisters Phyllis Durish, Jan Middler and Mildred Holden and brother Russell Doucette. Much loved partner of Heather Doucette, cherished father of Sandra and Chris and loving Grandpa of 3. Beloved brother of Terry (Ron), Betty (Chuck), Sylvia (the late Don), Gerald (Marge) and James (Linda). He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins (especially David Vella) and friends. Sid was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing in Rice Lake and enjoyed returning to his beloved Prince Edward Island. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Sid's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, April 10th from 10:30am-11:15am. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30am with an inurnment following in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
