I was very sad to hear that we have lost are dear friend Helen. What a gentle, loving women who NEVER forgot anyone here at Extendicare. Her generous heart and meaningful visits will be missed. We have been very fortunate over the years to have had Helen at our home. Her devotion and friendliness have gone unmatched. Helen will forever be in our prayers. The residents and staff here at Extendicare St.Catharines will miss her terribly! Every time we see a stuffed toy and/ or greeting card, we will think of her! Thank you so much Helen. You have been great to us! Jeannette :)

Helen and I saw each other often at the Fair View Mall, she use to walk over often, and on a few occasions if my hubby were with me, we would drive her home. We became friends when she fist move into Green-Meadow , where we once lived. We often joked that we were born in the best year 1930!! My heart is full of sorrow, I heard she was ill, the last time I saw her at the Mall she had called a taxi and was using a walker, as was I , I needed a hip replacement and have not been out and about for months, but thought of her often , will miss her awesome smile and the " by chance meetings at the Mall.....my prayers and deepest sympathy to her beloved family. Mary Arnold
