Obituary of Jakob Kantor

KANTOR, Jakob Peacefully at Garden City Manor on Monday, March 2nd at the age of 92. Predeceased by his son Peter (2000). Loving husband of Stefania, father in law of Maggie, and dear Grandpa of Brock (Jessica), Bryan (Madison), and Stefanie (Matthew). Much loved Great Grandpa of Rae-Lynn and Rosa. Mr. Kantor was a member of OLPH Church, and was an employee of the St. Lawrence Seaway for 22 years. Mr. Kantor's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, March 6th from 9:30am-10:15am. Funeral Liturgy will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate Street at 10:30am. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the United Way of St. Catharines would be appreciated by the family.
