Obituary of Helmut Luig

LUIG, Helmut After a long battle, Helmut peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Waltrud and loving father to Heidi (Robin) and step father to Jurgen. Dear brother of Annelise, Hedwig and Franz of Germany. Survived by many family and friends. In accordance with Helmut's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke or the Lung Association.
