Obituary of Elizabeth Westera

WESTERA, Elizabeth "Bep" Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of 30 years to Hank. Loving mother of Lambert (Colleen), Klaas (Teresa) and Ada (Gary) Lewis. Cherished Oma of Keri, Kevin, Lisa, Jodi, Janine, James and great Oma of Hudson. Predeceased by her grandson Hendrik. Bep will also be fondly remembered by her in-laws in Holland and many nieces and nephews. Bep was a quiet and patient person, with an unquestioning belief in her faith. She had an artistic side and used to make beautiful silk scarves with her own designs. Bep was a warm person with a mind of her own and will be sadly missed by those who knew her. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, February 26th from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service for Bep will take place on Friday, February 27th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Leprosy Mission Canada.
