Obituary of Heather Elizabeth Ford (nee Secord)

Ford, Heather (nee Secord) - It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the sudden passing of our dear Heather on Saturday February 21, 2015 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 59th year. Loving mother to Kate (Andrew Byrne). Beloved wife of Ladi. Cherished sister to Michael (Ruth) Secord, Greg (Mary) Secord, Melissa (Red) Secord-Reitz, and Scott (Karrie) Secord. Also survived by many loving family members. Will be greatly missed by her dog Pepper. Predeceased by her parents Victor and Corona-Mae Secord. Heather had a positive influence on many peoples lives whom she touched. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, on Wednesday February 25, 2015 between 6-9pm. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Rankin Cancer Run or St. Catharines General Hospital - Walker Cancer Centre in Heather's honour.
