Obituary of Mary Yarascavitch

YARASCAVITCH, Mary Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on February 10th. Survived by husband Vitali Vlasikov, sister-in-law Valentina Sanders (Joseph) and relatives in Canada and Ukraine. Special thanks to the staff of CCAC who took care of her at home: Alex, Norwina, Andrea, Shelly and Marianne. Deeply felt thanks to the Manager Nora Bridges, whose passionate and caring attitude helped Mary during her last days. Thanks to Dr. Fung for home visiting, and special thanks to her nurse Alex Parishev who visited Mary daily and helped her with everyday challenges. Mary's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, February 16th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. John the Theologian Ukrainian Catholic Church, 91 Lakeshore Road on Tuesday, February 17th at 10am. Rite of Committal to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Panachyda will be recited in the funeral home on Monday at 7:30pm. If desired, memorial donations to St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
