Obituary of Vittorio Donatelli

DONATELLI, Vittorio “Victor” Peacefully went home to be with his Lord, on February 4, 2015 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 87. He has been reunited with his wife, Anna. Loving father of Lucia and Anna-Maria (Diego) Silvestri. Predeceased by his cherished grandson, Christopher. Dear brother of Leonard, Umberto (Concetta) and Lora Lucente of Italy. Vittorio will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Vittorio was a lifelong member of Club Roma and a retiree from General Motors. He will be remembered for his wisdom, gentleness, love of gardening and devotion towards his family. A special thanks to Dr. Kanungo, St. Catharines Hospital and CCAC (Patti) for their support. Vittorio's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers held at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., on Monday, Feb. 9, at 9:30 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
