Obituary of Thomas Patrick Flanagan

Flanagan, Thomas "Tom" - Passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on Sunday February 1, 2015 at Linhaven Home at the age of 80 years. Loving husband to Margaret "Peggy" for 54 years. Beloved father of Dan (Corinne). Papa Tom will be sadly missed by Kira. Also survived by many caring family members. Tom was very proud of his career in his early years as an aeronautical engineer and pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He enjoyed to travel around the world during his time in the air force and later with Peggy. Tom was an avid reader, photographer, stamp and coin collector. The family will receive friends at the George Darte, 585 Carlton Street in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall from 12-2pm on Saturday February 7, 2015 for a gathering. Vigil Prayers will take place during the reception at 12pm. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to Friends of Linhaven in honour of Tom.
