Obituary of George Bennink

BENNINK, George- Passed away with his loving family by his side on Saturday, January 24th, 2015 at Hotel Dieu-Shaver Hospital in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Ann for 58 years. Cherished father of Andrew (Karen), Mike and Larry. Loving Opa of Christina, Mary, Brenton and Tyler. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Bill (Agnes), Arnold (Tina) and Albert (Pauline) and his sister Jenny (Keith) Spiegelberg. George was a long time employee of Ferranti Packard for over 30 years. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of George's Life will take place on Tuesday, January 27th at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 278 Parnell Road, St. Catharines at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Salvation Army, Covenant Christian Reformed Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
