I have been preparing personal tax returns for Mr. Campbell for many years at our office at IPN Financial Services. Bill was a real Gentlemen always. He would stop in the office every so often for a chat and it was always a pleasure to spend time with him. Many times he would mention his daughter Paula in Germany and what she would be up to.
I will miss these chats.
May he rest in peace!

Please accept our condolences from a fellow Rotarian. I always had the utmost respect for Bill as I appreciated his sense of humour and the tone in which he spoke to others. He will be sadly missed by those in the club who knew him well. May our thoughts and prayers comfort your family at this time of loss.

I met Bill Campbell at Bell when I was 18 years of age. I refer to him as Bill because that is the name I knew him by.
I will NEVER forget the day that he called me into his office and offered me a promotion. I held him in high regard & with respect. After he told me about the opportunity, I told him that I wanted to go back to school. As soon as those words left my mouth I thought to myself, "Who said that?!"
His answer was, "If you were my daughter, I would advise you to do exactly that". You have NO idea how his words affected my life! I felt that he was giving me his blessing & encouragement to further my education.I studied in Florida; then in California.
I was able to tell him in person how much what he said meant to me and how it changed my life. Now I am happy to share this story with you. It is amazing to me how just a few words spoken at just the right time can change the course of someone's life (mine in this case).
He definitely was a gentleman and also a gentle man.

Sincere condolences to Ruth and the entire family. Neighbors, friends, a fellow Rotarian and a gentleman.
We are all better for having known Bill and the family. In so many ways, Bill set a standard that many of us are still trying to reach.
We are out of the country and unable to attend the funeral but our thoughts and prayers will be with you.
Sincerely
Art and Jacquie

Auntie Ruth, Cousins Paula, Beth, Scott & families,
The Chauvin Clan sends HUGS from Belle River. I will always have fond memories of Uncle Will's aromatic pipe, white hat, cheshire cat grin & mischievious laugh. Visiting in June with our families at his great neices wedding (Marissa Chauvin & Nicolas Masse) at Mastronardi Winery in Kingsville was " a great thrill" and a fantastic way to wind down his travels for the summer. We will truly miss a gentle man xo Lainey & Brian Chauvin ,Missy & Nick Masse, Michelle & Bruce Lemire, Mat & AmyChauvin, & Marielle Chauvin

It was with much sadness that I read about Mr. Campbell's passing. It was a pleasure being Mr. Campbell's pharmacist for many years and I will always have very fond memories of him, his kindness, interesting conversations about travel, family etc. He truly was a real "gentleman". He will be missed by all the staff at the pharmacy.

Paula and family, so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I have many fond memories of both your parents, especially when they lived across the street from my grandparents!!!! I am working on being able to come over to St. kitts to see you all and hope that our paths will cross, unfortunately, under these circumstances.
Much Love, Susan
