Huck was a good friend to my husband Doug Mackie. He was always there for him to talk with. Both living in Port for many years, they had many funny stories to tell. Doug was without a father for many years and I feel that he looked to Huck as a fatherly figure. When Doug was ill and eventually passed, I knew that if I ever needed anything Uncle Huck would be there. I send my love and condolences to Daphne and the family. Huck will be sadly missed.

I was saddened by the news of Huck's passing, Gina and John have kept me apprised of his fight and more importantly his great attitude. I have fond memories of Huck, his infectious smile and desire to help us out, as both of you did many times over the years.

Sorry for your loss. Huck will never be forgotten but his kindness will live on. All three of us girls played Branch 350 Legion softball. As we rode our bikes through Port Dalhousie we always knew we had lots of time if we saw Huck on the hill waving to us.
Blessings,
Tracey

Dear Daph & Family
My deepest Condolences. As I heard the news my heart sank and I thought another of Port's Good old boys has pasted away. Then I remembered. I remember how Huck smiled, his big wide grin hidden in that beard of his, I remembered the quick witted teasing he used to give me as the youngest of the Wilson clan and how much apart of my family he always felt. From times when he and my grandpa would hang out at Scorecards or when my dad, him and Dave were volunteer Fire fighters.I am honoured to have been the third Generation of Wilson he called "Wils". I feel like a part of Port Dalhousie is gone, but I know he will never be forgotten, for ever person in Port Dalhousie who knew him will remember his Big grin, quick wit and Dedication to our town. All our prays and sympathy are with you and your family.
Rest In Peace Albert "Huck" Berry
We will miss you Huck
